Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director of the newly founded theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. Also, she was the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC in her capacity as the Artistic Director of SSC. Though generally leading from within the actors' ensemble, during her final year, she made her debut as a director (and lighting designer) for the SSC's King Lear.
